Our brides and grooms come to us from all over the world. We have the deep respect for the many traditions and distinct cultures found around the world and welcome the opportunity to include them in your ceremony.
Many of our couples do not enjoy being in the spotlight. They have chosen to be married in a magnificent quiet setting away from all the crowds. We encourage you to write your own vows, take the time to find your collective voice. The voice that sings in both your hearts when you think about standing there on your wedding day. We would be honored to give voice to the promise you are making to one another. This is your special day, create your perfect wedding in natures most beautiful places. Water Vase Ceremony: $50
This ancient, traditional wedding ceremony which honors mother earth through ceramics and water. The importance to ancient cultures of a single vessel, with the sole purpose for wedding ceremony cannot be overstated. In this ceremony, the couple fill a vase with two holes on either side from two containers of water. The single containers representing them both as individuals and all the elements of their past lives. The water mixed in the ceremonial vase representing the couples marriage and the inseparability of both the water and themselves. The Bride and Groom then drink from the water vase as a toast to their union. A couple that can drink simultaneously without spilling a drop is anticipated to have good understandings guide them throughout their marriage.
You may bring your own or borrow our vase.
Blanket Ceremony: $50
In this ancient cultural ceremony, the bride and groom are first wrapped in individual blankets which represent elements of the couples past lives and all that they were. While wrapped in the blankets, the officiant acknowledges the couples union. The individual blankets are then removed and then replaced with a single blanket, representing the couples dedication to each other, covering them together as they enter into their new shared experience. The officiant blesses their union and welcomes them to join together as one on their new life journey filled with peace and happiness.
You may bring your own blankets, 3 are needed, or borrow ours.
